D.E.A. is a Rapper / Producer from Northern / Central California.
In 1997, D.E.A. met a friend in highschool that had studio equipment and he would go to his house after school to record raps over mixtape beats. After recording many songs for mixtapes D.E.A. decided to invest into a home studio to allow him to produce and record his own tracks.
In the summer of 1999 D.E.A. released his first solo album entitled "West Koast Volume 1". The album was an instant success and is a "Classic" in the Salinas Valley for many of the songs on this album were dedicated to the area.
After releasing several more independent albums D.E.A. saw the need to create a record company to release his music and founded Breathe Records. D.E.A. "The Broken Window" was Breathe Records first official release.
D.E.A. will continue to release new music through Breathe Records so be sure to keep an eye out for new releases.
