DeadB Low were formed in august 2007 by Pete on guitars (Suicide Angel, Wrench, Reign of Erebus, Slaughter of Souls, Hexagram) and Nick on drums (Intense, Wrench, Hexagram.) Petes brother, Mike (Suicide Angel, Reign of Erebus, Slaughter of Souls) was quickly added to the line up on bass guitar duties. The band had a couple of rehearsals, finding a sound and direction for the band until September 2007, when Scott (Suicide Angel, Wrench, Reign of Erebus, Hexagram) was drafted in to take on vocal duties. The band rapidly began writing new songs, but after a few months there still seemed to be something missing from the sound. Colin (Wrench) was then bought in to add a 2nd guitar.
With the line up now complete, the music began to take shape, drawing on old and new, the music began taking shape. Mixing early influences such as Napalm Death, Sepultura and mixing them with more modern styles such as Fear Factory, Soil but mixing these all together with samples and sound effects from the industrial scene, the bands direction was sealed.
An early recording saw 5 tracks layed down, but due to incompetence from the studio, DBL were not happy with the finished sound, so this was never released as a demo.
Soon after this recording, Colin had to leave the band due to personal reasons, so long time friend Kev was quickly added to the empty guitarist slot.
After several gigs and more tracks being written, and a wish to add more electronics and samples to the music, it was decided to bring in an extra member purely to run all the samples. Chris 'Spike' was then added to the line up.
Shortly after this, DeadB Low played their first gig as a 6 piece, and the more industrial sound was greeted better than the band had hoped.
