Last show…
It's been a hard decision to make : our show on Feb. 20th at the Manekine Venue in France will be our last one.
The conditions to play and make music all together are not met anymore, like they used to be in the past. Devoting ourselves to writing new songs and jamming all together in Deadchovsky has become harder and more complicated than ever. Personal and professional obligations are, to a degree, the reason why we stop, but to be perfectly honest with everyone, it has become obvious that some of us had to move on, explore newer ways of life and creation, and therefore leave the old ones definitely.
All these years we have spent together were truly amazing, and finding words to describe how wonderful and surprising they were, as much personally than musically, is quite impossible. Deadchovsky gave all of us the opportunity to be standing where we are at the moment, to be who we are now. Without Igor and his erudite prophecy, we would never have known the kaleidoscopic lights of his foggy mind, the distorted chants of his smoky delirious states.
Sadly, Igor's voice won't be echoed anymore beyond our two albums «Decadence Revolution» and «Spiritus Sancti Bizarre». But his words were rightful, his melodies were sincere and his rhythms passionate. Igor, in his infinite beauty of being a beggar from another dimension, taught us joy, deliverance and achievement to see our songs played in so many places, loved by some and hated by others.
We would like to address the most sincere thanks to all those who ever believed in us and our music, without whom none of this could have been… those who endured our deliriant visions without being much worried about it, and patiently listened to our incoherent ideas.
Will remain as a testimony these two albums, about thirty shows, and two songs released on OTOP's Christian Death tribute, and Manic Depression's compilation.
Igor will live forever in our hearts and our memories, and will at last have some rest in his private own parallel dimension.
May He send his Blessing upon you !

All began with Igor the now famous beggar / prophet. No one knows who he is and where he comes from. Living in another dimension, he wanders across a fake Eastern Europe to spread the message of the Decadence Revolution. After having drunk a couple bottles of Vodka, he discovered that his brain could help transmitting his message in the normal-third-dimensional world...
In the end of the summer 2003, Lois John Slut (guitar) and Afterglauk (one-string-bass/one-vocal-chord) realise they are the hemispheres of Igor's brain. They are not totally conscious of this, but enough to leave the cold-wave band Trespass and to create Deadchovsky.
The very begining of Deadchovsky is a total nonsense: they record the track "Falling Curtain" to make a joke to the Sleeping Children. They give the same track to Lionel of Manic Depression Records to make believe it's some polish/hungarian underground band. Then they use a picture of Götterdammerung as their own on their website. But the project becomes serious...
In december 2003, Le Bab (keyboard) and Albator (drums) from the new-wave band Malaise Rouge (ex-Regard) join the band. They record together the labyrinthic and dement "Decadence Revolution" LP which is released in October 2004 through Manic Depression Records (the only one who had the balls to sign Deadchovsky).
The music may remind Neva, Sex Gang Children, Violet Stigmata, Le Sourire Décousu, Alien Sex Fiend, Killing Joke, Joy Division... and many others. "Decadence Revolution" gets a good feedback worldwide (only in the batcave/death-rock scene of course!).
In March 2005, Le Bab and Albator leave the band and are replaced by Hellebore (Crimson Muddle) and Braen X. Divarre (Alternative Zero, ex-Trespass) who quickly reach the brain.
After some gigs in Europe with bands such as Cinema Strange, Clan of Xymox, Ausgang, Sleeping Children, Jacquy Bitch... Deadchovsky records a second LP, available since May, 25th 2007, which is called "Spiritus Sancti Bizarre" (still with the help of the drunken ravens of Manic Depression Records!)
you have to watch the entire series!! SO FUNNY!!! I swear, my whole Saturday went by before I knew it, just watching one show after the other. I'm such a loser, I know, lol. Anyways, got any plans for next weekend? ... cuz i doooooooo! oooh, I think the pizza's here, I'm so freakin hungry right now, but it's all good. and that survey thing i was doing - THAT YOU WAS MAKING FUN OF ME FOR DOING!! - i just got paid! $76 for my first check, and since i got paid, I'm gonna do more of em, but I'm already at $184, so I'm loving it. They're so seriously stupid tho - the one I got last night was about my hair and stuff - like what kind of shampoo do I use, do I normally use conditioner ... for real, so easy. you should do it, i'm tellin yah. i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
UGH! It's just that he picks the damnedest (I know it's not a word) times to take a nap. I am STARVING and I didn't plan on cooking because my dad gave us a gift certificate to go to Ruby Tuesday and we had plans to go. I tried to wake him up over an hour ago and he's still laying there. I'm moving on from annoyed to pissed off! anywayz, it went good. We got stuff for our wii. How was yours? know what sucks? that IM supposed to be the one that knows about "web-stuff" and your profile is better than mine? Maybe I should just let you take care of mine like mom does Dan's...ohh, that reminds me, speaking of mom; i finally got her to start taking those surveys online like i'm doing, cuz i know the extra money sure comes in handy. you should really try em. i mean, if i got mom to try it, psh, i can get anybody to, heh..i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
