They just finished a gig in the hippest jazz club in town. The goodbye party for those who were to board the “Lusitânia” was finally over. A will to drift with the wind had taken over those two lost souls and so they were dragged to that hole of sailors, pimps and the like. The bars and suspicios clubs in that street that carried a bad name stinked of wisky and bourbon. The prostitutes wandered and spiced the few that still hanged out there in such late hour.
They came in to the first door that had’nt fresh blood and restarted to drink. In a short while the bar stool started to look like those waaves that came to the shore outside, the sailors ressembled strange sea monsters and the prostitutes dry mermaids.
Out of nowhere a hand with anchor tattoos landed on their faces. That was the last thing they remembered as they washed their bloody faces in the Tagus.
