"A most fitting band for Halloween weekend, DED is macabre psychobilly. The three-piece - guitar, stand up bass and drums - spin tales of death, destruction and other ghoulish fun."
"Dead End Dragstrip- Dead Man's Hand
I'll start by asking you fine people to support this band in any way you possibly can. Not only is Dead End Dragstrip candy for your ears, but they're fun to hang out with, as well. This release is simply outstanding; short & sweet. Although it only has 5 songs, "Dead Man's Hand" is one hell of a debut album. Upon hearing it I couldn't decide whether I wanted to sing along, or start a wreckin' pit! This CD has everything I'm looking for in psycho music: A talented bassist, good lyrics, ability to move you, & the chemistry that makes every great band a great band. Seeing them live is truly an experience to remember. Too bad they're not from San Anton'…"

"The hottest psychobilly I've ever heard! Dead End Dragstrip hails from Tucson, AZ (the home of The Bug Hour) but has traveled all over the country to play for folks who appreciate a killer sound and sexy musicians. They've got a wickedly edgy sound and I can see why there's always a great turnout wherever they plug in to play. "
- Sarah Chasse, KMRL Mojo Radio Live
"Psychobilly in Tucson is not as common as it used to be, some of the finest psycho-punk ensembles having evaporated into an unseen void between here and nowhere. Fortunately for Tucson's wrecking community, DEAD END DRAGSTRIP is still on the scene, playing in the name of no explanation necessary, bronzy psychobilly/punk. They're live show is on of the most untamed you'll see in Tucson, making it clear that dead end or no end, these cats are hell-bent on disaster."
- Piper, Tucson Vomit Magazine
"Dead End Dragstrip has become not only a staple to the psychobilly scene in Arizona but a Tucson favorite across the board of genres. The lovable, towering asshole, Big Jon belching into the microphone to convey emotion and the bass twirling ladies’ man, Brent combing his hair between licks, found their missing drummer link in newcomer, Steph early last year.
All around Tucson, teenagers sneak out to get their fix as Dead End Dragstrip intoxicates the quiet night with the frightening tales of suicide brides, angels of the underworld and graveyard ghosts! They’ll make your girlfriend feel tingly in funny places and you'll be too entranced by Steph’s heart pounding beats to notice! Big Jon’s flaming guitar strings and intense screams complimented by Brent’s melodic undertones and insatiable bass lines, will envelop you in an addictive green fog you’ll never forget. Seeing Dead End Dragstrip perform live is to become part of the undead."
