Bio
Deadflesh started in early 1994 from the remains of Disembowel DK. The band was Keld (Ex-Nations Of Death,ex-Dominus)-Guitar, and Allan (ex-Disembowel)-Guitar and Growl. Lasse (drums) came one year later, and the band was getting ready to record their first album:"Unreleased Hate" in 1996. This album contained 7 brutal tracks.Deadflesh didn't have a bassplayer and Allan was forced to do this session on the album. It was recorded over 2 days (16 hours) in "Take One" studio, Roskilde. Casper Munkebo produced the album. New tracks were made and in 2002 the band went into "Take One" again to record their second album:"Meatcleaver Boogie", this time with a different producer. This album also featured 7 brutal tracks. Deadflesh was not satisfied with the sound on this production and desided that "Meatcleaver Boogie" should not be printed and launched (steps are taken to a later release). Lasse desided to drop out in 2004. The year after Lars (ex-Infernal Death,ex-Illdisposed) and Krlle (ex-Moratorium,ex-Dominus) joined the band. The band had some material in the back, and some new was written. In 2007 Deadflesh went into "Soundtemple" studio to create a third album. This album had the workingtitle "World War III" and contained 12 brutal "Old-school" tracks. Lars desided to dropped out after finishing the drumtrack and Jimmy (ex-evanesence jam,ex-Angelic Desire) joined the following week. On "World War III" Deadflesh thought that it could be cool to try out some new features and asked the Hardcore rapper Dr. Keiff to do a rap on one of the tracks "With Fixed Bayonet" and Casper Munkebo to put some "Clean" vocal on several tracks as a contrast to the deep growl."World War III" was printed and launched in January 2008. In june 2008 Krlle desided to leave the band and was replaced by Lennart (ex-Suspect, ex-Saturnus). Deadflesh played a couple of gigs in the capitol of Denmark and started to write new material for a fourth album. At christmas 2009 Lenny was moving to Canada and departured from the band as well. Deadflesh continued to write, and in mid June 2010, Deadflesh was no longer a boyband. Hell-e was the new bass player in Deadflesh. Hell-e learned the old tracks quickly. And her kick-ass brutal bass play will be smashing peoples ears, on recordings and on stages in time to come. -
