DEADLINE features what are probably the best female vocals to be found in Punk Rock! Its hard to find a rival to Liz's powerfully warm, spine-tingling vocal lines. Multi layered harmonies, melodies to die for and one hit after another. This is the real deal!
We started playing in 2001, we've recorded and released 5 albums in 7 years, the last 3 came out on PEOPLE LIKE YOU and sold enough copies to keep us on the road. We changed line-ups too many times to mention but the current one is definitely the most capable and motivated we've ever had... and the least english as half the musicians are French passport holders. We've played pretty much everywhere! We've done each major city, dive and festival in Europe, as far North as Helsinki, as far East as Moscow and as far West as San Francisco and loved every minute of it. We've also had the privilege of playing with Punk Rock giants, RANCID, LARS FREDERIKSEN, DROPKICK MURPHYS, and THE DISTILLERS to name but a few. We haven't made it to the Far East yet, but if anyone wants to book us in Japan, Malaysia or Indonesia, just get in touch!
2009 will see the release of our first official Live DVD and we are busy writing songs for another full length release!
To quote Tim Brooks from Maximum RnR, "DEADLINE reminded me of when I first heard Punk Rock and my life changed forever". Make sure you catch us live when we play a town near you!
