DEADMASK was born in 2007 when Nuria and Dopi planned to record something together after their meeting in Wicked (a Black Sabbath coverband). Nuria was vocalist and leader for the punk rock band Electricats, along with a big experience as blues singer in a few bands. Dopi is the drummer and vocalist for the grind death cult Machetazo, among other projects. Both persons are independent musicians, far away from any local scene or trend. Common views of life/death and same musical influences made this collaboration an easy work, always under a satanic perspective and feeding in the roots of Doom Metal and 70s occult Rock.
After some months of song writing, home rehearsals, dopesmoking and cemetery walks, at last they decided to record two songs of their own, and four cover versions of some personal faves. The recording took place at Treboada Studio, with Nuria singing and Dopi playing all instruments. Titled "Under Luciferian Wings", it has been released on digi-pack MCD on Psychedoomelic (the great record label from Austria) with exclusive artwork/design by Alonso Urbanos (Moho, Orthodox, Rhino, etc).

Three new tracks extracted from our debut album “Ecclesia” are listenable on our myspace. “Ecclesia” contains nine processional and conquering tracks propagating a spirit at the same time fanatic and decadent. Mixing and mastering are done by Neb Xort in Drudenhaus Studio and Master Lab Studio (ANOREXIA NERVOSA, NECROBLASPHEME, ASMODEE).
