Sounds Like
Big fat fuzzy beats crashing through the forest......
Dead Panda made their debut with "MILLION DOLLAR GUN". They recorded the six song ep in their 1920's long beach studio, indulging in the ambiance and its haunting grandeur.
"MILLION DOLLAR GUN" portrays the Dead Panda style. Slow, heavy beats in rhythm with subsonic basslines pound the woofers, eerie hooks & dubbed out percussion fly from the tweeters. ("blissful & holy" - Dave Segal, OC Weekly)
Dead Panda plays live with shows at The Viper Room, Que Sera,
The Roxy, The Knitting Factory, and The Key Club.
In the studio, software & 'loops' were avoided, Dead Panda opted for a lo-fi 'organic' approach. There are no laptops onstage at a Dead Panda show, no sequencing,
just a DJ/MC, synth player, drummer & guitarist.
Dead Panda can be heard on Indie 103.1, Myspace, and MP3.com
