I wasn't around for much of the life of DT, but what I did have the privilege of seeing for the last few years was always smart and talented song writing, passionate and inspiring. Thanks for sharing your music and hearts with us. It has been my pleasure to get to know each of you and call you my friends.
I'm glad I got to see your last show! R.I.P. basement shows at N.6th, the Johnson shows in Bushwick, and all else that went along with the Dear Tonight era.
Marc, Pete, randy, ryan, dan... thank you so much for being some of the best group of guys you can ever run into at a show or even outside of a show. Dear Tonight touched me, but you guys as people touched me even more. Thanks for some good years of music!
your set last night was incredible, in so many ways. you will be missed, thank you for everything you've done and everything you guys have yet to do as individuals -tom
HEY GUYS.... Why do you break up your great band...????That..s really sad...we love your music and we don..t know a band similar to you!We..re happy to saw you live last year...it was great!!Ok ..your music is still alive..!!!We wish you all the best for your future....have a great summer and have fun!!!!!JULIA AND VERENICE
you guys shouldn't break up. setiously you guys wrote the best hardcore record of last year hands down. maybe we'll see new bands form, even though they won't be nearly as good as you guys.
dear dear tonight, you music was held so dearly to us. no deers in the world will ever be able to understand the dire need of needing dear tonight. love, mayans
ps. we're back together with a new guitarist so we can keep on truckin'. your timing sux! ugh!
DAMN! what's up guys? haven't talked in a long while...it's over eh? bummer, i was looking forward to seeing where you were gonna go! hope all else is well.
it was basically a year ago that I went to Long Island with you guys (for the show that Hot Cross cancelled). That was such a fun day and it makes me sad I didn't get to travel to more shows with DT :(
aww that sucks but you guys made some really good music, played at my house, and werent dicks lol but ill support any new bands the members of DT go into.. peace! -kyle
fucking awesome band, sad to see things end, wish it never had to end but thats the shitty thing about growing up....good things come to an end. keep on living live with the energy and passion that you guys played with on stage. much love, much respect.
i almost liked dear tonight more than modern life is war at that knitting factory show. i always liked the unique sound of dear tonight i wish you guys all the best in your lives! leila
