i love this band. not much else to say, except your music is changing my life around. i don't really know how to thank you.
The "Plans" album has given my life expression and hope, along with the "Transatlanticism" album.
I just want to let you guys know that your music has helped me through my deep depression of losing the one i love and has given me enough hope to get out of bed in the morning..
@HYPE (the comment below me) You should learn to recognize an artists development and evolution in music. A great artist appreciates and can write music in many genres. This is a bit more poppy modest mouse rock influence, but it's still art because Ben is an artist and this music erupts emotion.
I've seen you guys three times, and You just get more and more fun. You guys have got your own voice, and you stick to it. I've got a friend in a band called Concrete Pinyada who's worried about how his album might do in this music scene because of his unique musical style, but I think that you guys are proof that sticking to your own guns works. Death Cab's music is ALWAYS gonna be amazing, the way they are now does not suck now either.
And 'Seth Cohen' isn't real, he is highly fictional, a super natural image via the youth version of 'Joshua Schwartz' (creator of The OC) and if you are referring to Adam Brody then don't hate Adam Brody because he is FAR more DIFFERENT then the guy you remember from The OC.

I dont get on myspace and stuff like that. But i had to just for this reason. I listen to your lyrics alot its just so amazing the words that you use and the meaning behind it is just so outstanding. i would love to talk to you and capture the greatness, the person behind this great work of art.

Before Jason joined the band, before "Trans", before Ben started dressing like a drama teacher or an old Harry Potter, back when most of their current fans were in elementary school, back when DCFC's lyrics were interesting instead of repetitive, i hate you Seth Cohen.
My number one wish is to be on stage as you sing "I Will Possess Your Heart." I sang that while my boyfriend who was on life support, and only 18, and when he was still alive, was in the hospital a little over a month ago. That song was our song and everytime we heard it we would give eachother a kiss.. even if he was driving.
I love this band, i brag about you guys to everyone I know. I'm like a little premoter haha(:
