DJ DURT- started out as a pirate radio dj playing a mixture of punk, indie, hip hop, and ozzy. one day she was invited to dj at a party at rigg street. with a crate of her mom's old 80's aerobics records, she began her career as a house party dj in the small beach town of santa cruz. frequenting queer events, benefits, and beer soaked ragers, durt built a fan base of friends, homos and dancing freaks. she has since returned to her home town of san francisco and jumped into the dance party livin of the queerest place on earth. her resume includes guest stints at gay not gay, stay gold and heavy rotation. She currently co-organizes heavy rotation (every 2nd friday of the month at the el rio), ships in the night (every third thursday at underground sf), homotopia (every second sunday at the white horse, oakland), and sissy strut: queer soul & oldies (every fourth friday at underground sf). I'm having a huge party in the 420 basement CLUB 6ix in San Francisco this weekend on AUG 7th. It's called DIRTY SOUF's Night of the Lioness: The FREE LEO PARTY! So if you're a LEO, you get in free.
DIRTY SOUF brings the most current Chopped N Screwed, New Orleans Bounce, and Southern Crunk music from the SOUTH over to San Francisco. We have Southern food too.
The DJs are Jeanine Da Feen & Storm. There will be a Go Go Dancing contest as well.
