About Defacto:
Bristol based Defacto play original rock featuring strong lyrics and soaring choruses guaranteed to get any audience on it's feet - and they usually do!
Armed with a big bag of catchy tunes, a tight rhythm section and killer riffs, Defacto deliver a sound that has been well received at all their live dates.
Biog:
Singer / Songwriter Marc Toms had been working as a solo artist under the name Defacto for many years, releasing a number of EPs, climaxing at 2003's Moonshine and Rain album.
In the early summer of 2005 Marc recruited drummer David Tye and bassist Alan Warren. Several guitarists, and one EP later, Defacto were joined by Dockside studio's Ellen Morgan on lead guitar. In the summer of 2006 Defacto became a five piece, with the addition of Ross Hawkins on keys.
