Music is and has always been something that is not possible to imagine life without. Siberian extreme metal act Defect Designer have known each other since their early childhood.
First the band was playing Metallica, Iron Maiden and some other heavy-metal stuff.
We started to play death metal in 2005 when Dmitry "mr.scavenger" joined Peter "Carbonized" (guitars, the founder), Pavel "SkipJack" (Bass), Konstantin "Gwelu" (Drums), John "Hell" (guitars) and proposed to try to play heavier stuff that already composed and waiting to be played.

In 2007 in a local tiny studio Megaton the band recorded the four track promo CD "W" with sound engineer B0zil Antipkin. Having sent the promo worldwide, the band received plenty of positive feedback and interest in their work.

In the end of 2007 Peter is replaced by Kirill (who is responsible for recording most guitar parties on the upcoming album), the band decided to record the first full-length. There was no proper studio in 4000 km around so Defect Designer having got no support accumulated funds and went to Hertz Studio, Poland where during one half of February recorded and mixed 12 songs with Wojtek and Slavek Wieslawski. Now almost all the works on the album are finished, the CD is entitled "WAX".

By now 3/5 of the original line-up is replaced, it’s time to move forward with new powers, experienced musicians, and music that is waiting to be unleashed. Gigs and days after we now are making plans to record the new material cause there is plenty of to go further with.

Put together the first music video for one of the songs, that being for the song "Eel Marsh House", which is based on the movie "The Woman In Black". Wasn't sure to name it that instead of 'Eel Marsh..." ...Eel Marsh House being where the woman in black 'lived', and now haunts it. Though, she seems to haunt the general area of the village as well as the House. If anyone catches her gaze, looks into her eyes....a child will die, usually from the family of the person unfortunate to look at her. As you see what happens to the story's main character at the end. Hope you like it, that's about all for now, Cheers! Rob
