Influences
coping with the 21st century, we're all just pissed off that there's no flying cars yet...making and listening to mix tapes...
Other than that Carter USM, the Levellers, the Streets, the clash, southend acoustic scene, pulp and other things

Some dude from essex singing about what he knows... not much, but gets help from his mates when ever possiable.
Liz Beattie, a retired teacher, will call on the association's annual gathering in Buxton, Derbyshire, to "delete the word 'fail' from the educational vocabulary to be replaced with the concept of 'deferred success'".
"The sound of a scrap between The Streets and The Clash, being broken up by Billy Bragg" - XFM London!
"Awesome" - Fruit Bat - Carter USM
"Best Fag Break Ive had in ages" -Itich - The King Blues
"Eloquent Folk-Punk" - R2 - Rock 'n' Reel
"make sure you catch Deferred Sucess live" - Noisy Fanzine
Deferred Sucess could be called the Crazy adventures of Doozer and his mates. But I think thats too long, but Deferred Sucess sums up my life. Always trying, never giving up and never failing. Not always getting what i set out to do, never as i thought itll be, but its always better than i could ever wish for. This "band" has at so many floating members, people drift in and out. I always confuse people when i start talking about it. think i confuse myself alot of the time
Playing anywhere and everywhere from Car Parks to Venues to Squats to camp fires to festivals to back of vans to Ques and anywhere anyone will let it happen.

After you've finished here, you may like to hear this poem sung on myspace...
Poem 162 of 230, WalkaboutsVerse (please see my blog): TEES TO TYNE: FIRST IMPRESSIONS - SUMMER 2001
Where traditions are not so rare; Sea, country and works scent the air; A multitude of monuments, Planted tubs and patterned pavements.
The longish pedestrian malls; The remnants of defensive walls; Historic buildings are a gauge Of the respect for heritage.
Wheat, rape and pines in the fields; Estuaries guarded by shields; Long sandy beaches and wide scenes; Romantic-ruin go-betweens.
Rivers in parts licked by trees, Or fringed by boat clubs, wharfs, gantries, And crossed by practical delights - Varied spans, forming pleasing sights.
Fine churches headed at Durham; Football kits ad infinitum; Kept castles - one for study; Masonry behind masonry.
And, with moulding-works out that way, It’s somewhere for a longer stay..?
We thank you so much for the add!.. We’re just a small band, but we’d be delighted if you just listened to our Garage Rock songs and you sent us any kind of comment!! ☠
