We are Definitely Maybe from KLIUC. Definitely Maybe was born in July 2008 when Guy, Daniel and Shakir (who were friends from way back in the early days of highschool) decided to enter KLIUC's Battle of the Bands '08. After some considerations, they decided to recruit two more band members, Bazz and Dzafri(who were first semester students in KLIUC as well as Guy, Daniel and Shakir). The change in our line-up was supposed to be temporary at first, but that all changed when we felt the chemistry between us and we managed to get into finals. And to our surprise, we were the only first semester students who got into finals as the other bands that qualified are all our seniors. So we decided to record our first single, Losing Someone, with the help of our friend Yaya(who was also a first semester student in KLIUC at that time), doing the back-up vocals for the single. The single was released in late December '08. Unfortunately, Dzafri had to leave the band because he had to study somewhere else and have other important things to commit to. So the search for our new vocalist began and after some serious considerations, we asked Yaya(who did the back-up vocals for, Losing Someone) to sing for us. Sometime in April 2010, Bazz followed Dzafri's footsteps and left the band for bigger commitments. Leaving Yaya, Daniel, Guy and Shakir to continue the challenge of entertaining young hearts. We already started to record our first EP ever called, You're Staying, I'm Smiling, and hopefully it will be released soon. So thats our story !
