Hey listen up…Defying Control is a punk rock / hardcore band who rose from the ashes of another punk band. Defying Control is a band inspired in bands such as Bad Religion, Rise Against, Suicidal Tendencies, Comeback Kid and a lot more. D.C. exists since April 25th 2003 and has 4 members: Killer (a.k.a Kid Trouble) - bass and vocals; Francis- guitar; Zé Mustas –guitar; Rui Ricardo- drums.
They already shared the stage with some of the most important bands in the Portuguese punk/hc scene that have worldwide recognition.
D.C. believes in the punk /hc movement and does also believe that people can change the world into a better place through music but most of all, D.C. are all about making friends wherever they go. Through the times a demo and an EP were released. None of that really matters, because their looking to the future and feeling the present.
“Reflection” it’s on the stores and that’s the best or the worst you can expect from Defying Control.

Mixed in November 2006 by Ricardo Espinha.

No proximo Sabado, dia 28 de Junho a partir das 21h o RUI FAC, vocalista de Grankapo, vai fazer um DJ set no MANS RUIN BAR em Cacilhas. Ele que foi em tempos DJ no velho Rookie no Bairro Alto vai animar o pessoal em noite de Hardcore / Metal. Não faltes, entrada gratuita e cerveja a 1 euro.

Há um aninho atrás foi quando vos ouvi pela 1ª vez porque um amigo meu mostrou-me o vosso cd e eu fiquei encantada ;) Adoro punk rock e vai daí que gostei muito das musicas das vossas excelencias =P Sim, espero ver-vos on stage brevemente, porque ja varias vezes tive pa vos ir ver mas acabava por nao poder ir =S Bem, apenas tenho a dizer para continuarem o vosso magnifico trabalho e desejar-vos muita sorte (apesar de nao precisarem)! ;)
