'DeLorean Suite' are a three-piece Band from Limerick, Ireland consisting of Jennifer McMahon (Vocals), Tony Roche (Drums/Percussion) and Graham Conway (Keyboards/Production). The trio have spent several years crafting a laid-back, subtle sound which seeks the amalgamation of genres as varied as House, Downtempo, Nu-Jazz and R'n'B. The result is a dynamic blend of soulful grooves, punctuated by tight percussion and delicate synth textures. Recordings by the band have been licensed to labels such as Slip'N'Slide (U.K) and Sofitone (Miami). Meanwhile, their forthcoming single, 'Deep Love' will be released through UK label, 'Coffee-N-Creme' and has already garnered praise from DJ Heavyweights such as Frankie Knuckles and Andy Ward. An EP release scheduled for later in the year will be mixed by U.K Producer, Somatik (Jill Scott,4 Hero) and will feature collaborations with legendary Bassist, Chuck Rainey (Michael Jackson, Steely Dan) and MC/Bass Guitarist, Divinity Roxx(Beyonce). Although their primary focus has been on their recorded output, the band have also enjoyed considerable success performing in a live environment. Their stage show is a complementary mix of acoustic instrumentation and electronic sequences. Support slots to 'Groove Armada' and 'DJ Sneak' have helped to develop their profile in their home country. Meanwhile, invitations to perform at festivals in Paris and Berlin have succeeded in introducing them to a European audience. With studio work for their forthcoming EP nearing completion, 'DeLorean Suite' look forward to touring in the near future.
Hi glad you like the photos. The latest ones were taken on a walk at the weekend. The villages are a couple of miles south of Stratford-upon-Avon. I did spend a week in Ireland a few years ago and I must admit it was one of the best weeks Ive had. We stayed in Killarney but travelled around.
Ah, you know Richard! What a lovely guy. I need to hang out with him soon. Otherwise I fear I might lose my right toe. Just a suspicion. Happy Thirsday to you :) kw
Thank you for the request and the nice comment guys. I think your music is cool. Great stuff. I met Kim in the 55bar in NYC. She was playing with Mike Stern and Tom Kennedy. She's an awesome drummer. You look like you were having a great time with her friends. They are all amazing musicians. Best wishes. Tony
Hey Tony....Hello to everyone there. I'm happy to hear you're getting some great weather there instead of rain. My internet connect is not so great on the road. It's not good for watching videos but I did get the Deep Love video you send. From the little that I could see it looks pretty cool. Hope you're getting to do lots of bike rides and that everyone is happy and well. Maybe we'll get to see you all again soon.
