The Beatles, if the Beatles were a bunch of slackers who sang songs about cannibalism at open mic nights and who didn't sound much like the Beatles at all.
Novelty rawk band from deep in the hole of Mass. We've been together (off and on) for five years now, playing whatever we think is funny at the time for whoever doesn't have anywhere better to be. In high school, we put together three self-released albums of mostly-sketch comedy, SAVE YOUR HAIR (2000), MONKEY FEAR CAFE (2001), and RADIO HOUR (2002). These albums weren't what you might call "polished," but they were good clean fun; while these albums are now, for all intents and purposes, out of print, if you really want to hear them we can e-mail you the tracks.
After that, we took a couple years off to pursue collegely interests, but now we're BACK-- and how! Relocated from the woods to grand old Boston, we've already played with god-among-men Bruce Campbell and campus faves Apollo Sunshine, and plan on recording and gigging with a fiery vengeance. Stay tuned-- You never know when we'll strike!
In the meantime, you can order some of our brand new swag!
The Super-Hardcore Lo-Fi Indie D.I.Y.E.P. - Our brand new audio calling card, with the four tracks above, plus "A Trip to the Dentist" (off MONKEY FEAR CAFE), "Miss Cleo," and "John Ashcroft" (both from RADIO HOUR), plus exclusive snarkier-than-thou liner notes and palpable indie cred! Yours for $4!
T-shirts: We've got a brand new batch of shirts with our mugs on 'em! You can have the image at the top of the page, in TWO COLOR SCHEMES: brown on blue and black on green! Sizes small through extra large. We're thinking $10 for these puppies. Trust me-- They're profoundly nifty!
If you want any of that stuff, e-mail us and we'll figure something out. Hell, e-mail us anyway-- We'd love to hear from you, just to know there's someone on the other end of this internet thing that likes our stuff!
Oh, and when you're through here, be sure to check out Andy's solo stuff. Talented lad, that guitar player of ours.
We just found out our new CD is currently being played on 150+ college radio stations across the US. We’re super excited! If you’d like to hear what all the hubbub is about listen to the CD’s songs at http://www.tiny.cc/listen2TGH
