Depressed Mode started as a one-man-project by Ossy Salonen.
After 3 months Tomppa Turpeinen joined the band as guitar player.
After 6 months, Natalie Koskinen joined the band.
After 11 months when Depressed Mode was a trio, Jamppa Lamminpää joined the band and took over the bass-lines.
This all started in 2005. One song were made in 2004 but it was so different from my other compositions so it didn't fit in to Death Metal and Black Metal. The genre was Melodic "Funeral" Doom Metal.
The debut album "Ghosts Of Devotion" was released in beginning of summer 2007.
After few Line-up changes Depressed Mode recorded it's second album "..For Death", witch was released at february '09. "..For Death" is slightly more death metal stylish, and faster than the debut, but it's still beating you with symphonic edges and melodies!
