About me:

Designers Against Aids is an internationally well-known project, launched in 2004 in Belgium, which carries out a worthy cause in a special way: spreading HIV/AIDS awareness around the globe, by using pop culture, celebrities, fashion and sports to draw the attention of today’s young generation, mainly from Western countries, and let them acknowledge the dangers of the virus and the need for them to prevent the spread by being ‘safe’. Fashion Against Aids

You might know DAA from the Fashion Against Aids (FAA) campaigns, a collaboration between Designers Against Aids and fashion giant H&M. We're proud to say the second Fashion Against Aids has again proved itself to be a successful project with exclusively designed T-shirts by celebrities and artists like Katy Perry, Dita Von Teese, Moby, Estelle, NERD and Tokio Hotel. This year's collection was launched in 30 countries and almost 1000 stores, spreading the message of safe sex and HIV/AIDS awareness all over the world!

Models Against Aids

With Models Against Aids we want to continue our prevention efforts towards young people, by informing girls and boys who dream of becoming a model about HIV/AIDS and safe sex. But that's not all, Models Against Aids will not only inform, but also raise funds for future AIDS awareness programs through the models and agencies that are willing to donate 1% to DAA for every booking they make. Furthermore, the models will take part in future campaigns, give lectures at schools, speak out during interviews and at events and motivate their colleagues to also join MAA.
