"The Empty Feeling"

"What is there to feel when you are confused but your gut feeling telling you to get her back. Knowing of what the past has had and therefore could make you seem attached or stupid, but willing to try one more time. Attached to what? I would say the thought of being not alone, the thought of sharing personal experiences, the thought of having someone to lean on . . . not as a crutch but as warmth to know they are there, just the touch to confirm they are only yours, so you walk proud with your head tilted to the sky, and a glare in your eyes to make you feel like you are on cloud nine. The growth that one goes through is so remarkable that history has been made. The power of just one memory makes the day pause and vividly the picture is displayed. So you smile without a empty face. The hidden shadow, that had not seen daylight since birth finally got a glimpse of a glare from long silky hair. Laughter, and regret is always on the mind, but nothing to find but longing memories of satisfied feelings that will decrease and fade away, like a cocoon no longer being rented by beauty. Unwanted tear slides down soft dark skin, not out of anger but out of the thought of emptiness moving back in . . . No surrendering, but going to war like a solider left at the cold war!"
