IF I HAVE FORGOTTEN YOU, DONT HATE, IT'S JUST MEMORY LOSS.
Started dj'n whilst in school, playing on a pair of cheap, jumpy, coin waited turntables...
First experience and love fell to Hip Hop/Rap & Reggae music, co- running the now defunked FBI Soul sound, playing legendary jams alongside Funkadelic, Stylemedia, Rappattack sounds.
Through the love of rap, Dezert became part of the UNIT B3 Hip Hop crew, signed to much respected Dj Froggy's Circle City label, spawning the controversial 'Turn your radio on!' The song took the p*** out of a well known national radio station...guess who? So it was banned unless changed!
Dezert has worked as the head A&R (artist & reportoire) man at Streetsounds Recs owned by Morgan Khan, the label produced the now infamous collectors series of 'Streetsound Electro' (now worth a mint!) during this time Dezert came into contact and made friends with house legend Peter Black (How far I go) of Chicago Trax etc and Cat (New Power Gen) amongst others and sitting in on recording sessions learning the first steps into production.
Dezert began the radio route joining Fantasy Fm who was born out of the legendary Centreforce Fm. Alongside Hype, Spice, Rythem Doc, Jekyll & Hyde, Freestyle Flip Corp, Dj Rap, Mr. C, amongst others. Dezert played Wonderland Arena, Humanity, Cloud 9, Biology, Genesis, Andromeda, Unity, Orange, Clink St, Dungeons, and much much more...
Present day...Dezert can now be heard playing upfront and classic Liquid Funk beats on the multi-award winning drum & bass radio station KOOL Fm every Monday night, called 'Liquid Mondays' from 7-9pm or 9-11pm cet (alternative weeks) alongside Emtek, A-Lite, and Mc's Five Alive, K-Eye, Joker D. Dezert is still actively spinnin the beats around Europe and home for the likes of Raindance, RAW, Liquid Bass, Fever, IFFI Sounds and a wealth of private underground jams. Dezert has played in Germany, France, Belgium, Poland, Spain and its all about the US next!
Currently in production under the Output Level Productions stable and in process of releasing various productions across the Drum & Bass/ House/Hip Hop scale. Watch out for the Sandstorm..

Hi Rob, unbelievable few weeks for us mate! The diving controversy, Almunia's foul on Rooney when he was going nowhere, Diaby's bizarre own goal also at your place, Adeybayor....say no more! Hopefully, last night's scrappy win will instill more belief in the team because we need it atm. Run of home games to come so have to take max points! Looking forward to the Manchester derby? No Ade, Tevez or Robinho - please annihilate them! Going to Fabric next Friday 25th if you're about? Tried to log into the LMondays but the stream was down unfortunately, catch you soon on AIM - should have some new bits soon! Matt ;-)
