In 1974 Christian Nóvé founded the progressive rock band
DICE in Gütersloh/West-Germany.
Its first LP has been released in 1979, with Musicians than
Alto Pappert (ex-Kraan) und George Kochbeck
(ex Joachim Kühn-Band).
Four years later, in 1983, "Live-DICE" came out which is also
available as picture disc. This album is now rare and
appreciated a lot by collectors and sold at the highest price.
Both LPs can be found in rarity catalogues.
In the early 1990ies DICE has been refounded as a live-band
in Leipzig/East-Germany. Since 1997 the band releases a
longtrack-CD every year, is reviewed in music magazines
worldwide and is therefore an integral part in the Progressive
Rock scene today.
2003 marked another milestone in the bands history: DICE
published "Cosmic-Prog Live", a Live-CD, and the bands first
DVD "Cosmic-Prog in Concert" -- both featuring the biggest
concert in the bands history so far live at the Theatron
Musiksommer-Festival in Munich for more than 3000 fans.
Nowadays, the band celebrates its 15th album
"Versus Without Versus, Endpart", released in January 2009.
As you probably know this album concludes the DICE Versus Trilogy.
For the first time the new saxophon player Jens Luebeck is featured on a DICE album and also the musics complexity has been raised further. The tricky rhythm changes are arranged so well, they don't irritate
the listener.
The almost 25 minutes track "Hold The Spirit" on the album will be the longest song in the band's history.

hey! we are trying to change something... our new singer erik can't be a full member of dreamscape because the stess to travel a lot is affecting his health. so we decided to work with more than one singer - honestly we will work with even more than two... hopefully you will like that idea! we like it a lot because we will be very flexible and our sound will become even more complex! kind regards!
