關於我：
A friend of mine, who recently found out that I had enlisted in this myspace business, said that I was "on the prowl" meaning, I guess, that my objective here was to meet women. But I thought she said, "on the prow," which, for all of you non-nautical types, is the front of a boat. So I wholeheartedly agreed, thinking that she meant that I was moving ahead, or knifing through icy waters, or some such positive notion of where my life might be heading. See, I've had a bad time lately, and my friends tend to worry. I thought On The Prow was a funny expression, that's all, and I wasn't going to admit to turning my life around or anything. I'm still hopelessly troubled. HOWEVER, she thought, actually, that I was admitting to being ON THE PROWL, and so she started sending what she considered victims my way. I am not, however, and I want to be clear about this, collecting scalps, golden teeth, or baby shoes, nor am I adding notches to my big fuckin' stick AT THIS TIME. Maybe sometime in the near future.
