Dirty Whiskey is influenced by the rock, and everything that goes along with it. Fast cars, fast women, flowing booze and living life. We are influenced by loud guitars, pounding rhythms and ground shaking bass.
In short, we are influenced by anything and everything a true rock band should be influenced by.
Sounds Like
We sound like that band you used to listen to when you were a kid, and always wondered why bands didn't sound like that anymore. We arent about skateboarding and singing happy punk songs. We sing about women, sex and life, and we will bitch slap you across the face with it.
If you dont like it, and are at the show, we will force feed it to you, the only way we know how. Loud, hard and fast, for the most part anyways.
Take ACDC, mix it with a little Guns N' Roses and Metallica, with a little punk flare thrown in for good flavoring. That is Dirty Whiskey.
Dirty Whiskey is a rock n' roll quartet out of Southern Michigan. Led by frontman ROXXY STARR the band was formed for the sole purpose of rocking all those who can take the audio assault. Helping to kick out the jams are JIMI SMOXE on lead axe, RIKKI ROXX on the floor rumbler and STYX on the brain crunching drums.
