David Ian LiaBraaten, Henry Montejano III, Daniel Alexander Staton
Influences
Grandaddy, Air, Daft Punk, Bauhaus, Pet Shop Boys, Postal Service, Depeche Mode, The Cure, The Smiths, David Bowie, My Bloody Valentine, Echo and the Bunnymen, Massive Attack, Portishead, Nine Inch Nails, Aphex Twin, Placebo, Underworld, Black Sabbath, Pink Floyd, Love and Rockets, Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, New Order, Smashing Pumpkins, Brian Eno, and lots of electronic music and the sounds of the machinery that binds us in techno-servitude to the eye of Disgustitron.
Armed with an old PC, cassette deck, a few effects pedals and a mess of cables, vocalist/keyboardist David Ian LiaBraaten began the experiment that would conceive Disgustitron.
Born in a basement in Southeast Portland, Disgustitron continues to mutate as it digests more and more musicians, equipment and binary garbage as it seeks to enslave humanity through rock and roll mind control vibrations.
Members include bassist Daniel Alexander Staton and guitarist Henry Montejano III.
Disgustitron’s debut DIY CD will be released AUGUST 7 2008.

Hey. So cool of you to help out the Prids with your show. I've been a fan of theirs since seeing them at Ash Street in June 2007 and was so sad to hear about their accident. You're good people, you Disgustitrons you! Can't wait to see you with the Slants at Mt. Tabor :).
Holy shit. The album sounds SO good. It's seriously GREAT. I cant stop listening to it. Awesome show on Thursday, and although it shouldn't have worked out this way, I thought the show tonight(Saturday) was even better. But I just think that proves that you are willing to play an amazing show even if it's last minute and not specifically a party for you.
I'm loving you more and more. If you were a girl...Or a guy, and I was gay...I would totally fuck you.
Lets hope we can get some videos together by the next CD release. I'm coming up with ideas while listening to your album non-stop.
Incredible show tonight, guys! You sounded phenomenal and the CD is absolutely marvelous. I love the packaging.
Hey,if you all are free tonight, we're playing Heather's b-day at the Ash St. and she's running a $2 cover deal for members of local bands. It'd be rad if you could make it down.
Come watch us play an ass kicking set of wizard rock wearing nothing but a cape and a flaming electric guitar.(maybe some socks) The puppet show with sex crazed unicorns doing battle with flying witches high on teenage sugar wolf pills will surely add to the excitement.
We're back in the UK now :( Missing Portland loads, we had such a great time with you guys and have been telling all we know about you's. We're coming back next year, and we'll all have to hook up for some late night omelette action... take care, Dead Wasps x
Noooooooooo, thank YOU'S for the best night of the tour so far. You guys rock, remember when you come over you can stay with us! I'm off to eat a John Denver omlette now, so take care and hopefully we'll hook up again real soon :) Peace, Wasps x
