Topeka’s Diskreet are pure adrenalised brutality personified. Unorthodox structures
blended with pummeling groove combines with a savage attack of buzz saw guitars and some
of the most ultra-violent blast ridden drumming in the genre, creating a sound that will
satisfy the most dedicated Death Metal head, as well as worshippers of the modern
Tech/Grind movement.
Since forming in late 2003, Diskreet have developed a huge following in their native
Kansas, ripping up the stage with a hugely diverse range of ground breaking acts that
reflect their refusal to be pigeonholed into one genre. These bands include Deicide, The
Acacia Strain, Napalm Death, Despised Icon, Through The Eyes Of The Dead, From A Second
Story Window, Origin, Into The Moat, Psyopus, Ed Gein, All Else Failed, Pissing Razors,
Anal Blast, Cannae, Incantation and many, many more.
Now the band are moving forward at a frightening pace, gaining new fans all over the
world. With their debut 7 track Mini Album ‘Infernal Rise’ dropping worldwide in February
on Siege Of Amida Records, the unsuspecting world is about to be torn a new asshole. The
band’s February European tour with Necrophagist and Misery Index provides the perfect
platform for the band to be unleashed upon the unsuspecting head banger…
