To celebrate our 150th edition, DIVA is scouting for 150 gay and bisexual women to grace the cover of our special souvenir issue. But they must be willing to bare (nearly) all. The photo shoot, inspired by the work of artist Spencer Tunick, will take place at an indoor location in central London in mid-August. Be a part of this historic event and join the biggest-ever gathering of naked les/bi women, and help us to create our most ambitious issue ever. DIVA regrets we are unable to pay a fee or expenses.
To take part, email us at 150@divamag.co.uk with 'Cover 150' in the subject heading, stating your age, name, phone and email contact details. We will add you to our growing list of participants and make sure you're kept updated and informed about the details of the shoot.
All participants will be invited to celebrate the 150th DIVA issue at an exclusive VIP invite only party in a venue in central London in early October. They will also receive a complimentary photograph of the cover shot, signed by editor Jane Czyzselska as well as a copy of the magazine and a goody bag worth over £50 to thank you for your contribution to this historic event!
Calling all photographers! Create your own fashion story
If you've dreamed of having your very own fashion shoot in a national publication, this could be your chance. To celebrate our 150th issue, DIVA is giving readers the unique opportunity to create and submit a fashion story, themed around the number 150. What does the number 150 mean to you? 150bpms? 150mph? Let your imagination guide you. The winning shoot will be featured in our souvenir 150th issue, out on October 2nd, and the winning photographer will be offered a paid fashion shoot in a future issue. Two runners-up will have their fashion shoots published on www.divamag.co.uk. To enter, you’ll need to source your own team of models, photographer, stylist, make-up artist and, of course, clothes. The clothes you choose must be on-trend for Autumn/ Winter ’08, and your entry will contain the following: Eight images to be used over six pages, full credits and stockists’ details.
