About The Liberators.........
Out of the Rave explosion at the end of the Eighties came a massive underground dance movement that combined the Anarchy of the free festivals like Stone Henge with the music and style of the orbital parties like Sunrise. Names like Spiral Tribe, Circus Warp, DIY, and Bedlam created sound systems and gave DJs like The Liberators, Aztec, Colin Dale, Digs and Woosh a chance to cut their teeth at rave/festivals like Castle Morton and Lechlade Free. The Liberator DJs came through the North London squat party scene where they had been gaining skills making all night parties full of punks and ravers. In 1992 they teamed up with the extremely influential sound system Bedlam busting into warehouses to make some of the most chaotic free parties London had ever seen. In 1994 the boys started the Stay Up, Forever record label which kick started the Acid Techno sound and due to this The Liberators started to get an international fan base and gigs all over the world soon followed. Fast forward to 2008 and The Liberators and their ideal of the true rave underground still remains.
Night Light Records is back with a 10-track blazer album from techno ambassador, Mladen Tomic.
The “Addicted to Music” album drops a combination of devastating kicks, destructive bass lines and dangerous samples of minimal trippy beats and melodies totally waiting to twist your mind and drive any dancefloor insane.
A fabulous release that is totally essential to any fan of pure uncompromising minimal techno.
