D.J. Brian Paul, a Houston Tx. native, made the move to Austin early in life where his passion for electronic dance music and culture flourished rapidly. In association with Subtracts crew, 626 Soul crew and under the watchful eye of D.J.'s Richard Jones and Thomas Edwards, Brian's knowledge of E.D.M. and his ability to move a crowd from behind the decks took off. A bedroom D.J. at the age of seventeen, with a thirst for vinyl that could not be quenched, Brian focused on mixing techniques, track selection, and amateur sound engineering on a daily basis. By age twenty, it was time for a move back to Houston, a larger E.D.M. scene, and the opportunity to pursue a career as a seasoned D.J. After moving back home, Brian held residencies at multiple clubs such as Prive' lounge, Jet Lounge and Vintage Lounge, and worked with E.D.M. greats including Josh Gabriel (Gabriel and Dresden), Benny Benassi, Tiesto, Lexicon Avenue, Dave Seamen, and Mark Farina to name a few. Brian Paul currently represents 77002.com/NightCulture, Houston's premier electronic dance music community, and boasts a style that ranges from sublime/progressive/funk to dirty/electro/tech.
