Otis Gibson and The Rockhounds formed after their first band, Dram Booker and the Lost Dogs had an unfortunate 125 proof encounter and wandered off aimlessly. With the release of "Sorry State", Otis, Dram and The Rockhounds have told the story of a woman going crazy with a sound that fans may find a bit different than what they're used to.

Back in my youth. I was travelling around upstate New York in my 1972 Ford Econline van. Some time in the early 1980's I found myself in Cortland, NY, a college town. I seem to remember that there was a street fair with several bands playing, The Moss Back Mule Band, Ben Steel and His Bare Hands, Kill Devil and "OTIS GIBSON AND THE ROCKHOUNDS" . Any relation?

Hope to see you in September!
"Sorry State" is fantastic! I think it's another jump up from your already high standards. As well as being a good song the singing and guitar playing is brilliant. And the overall sound is faultless too. Really nice job!
