Seit 1985 "mache" ich Radio: Passend zum damals beginnenden Computerboom benannte ich die Station - und das geeignete Indikativ fuer die ersten Sendungen fand sich schnell im Plattenarchiv: Das Lied "(I'm Your) Joystick" der US-Funkpop-Gruppe "The Dazz-Band". Der Sohn meines damaligen Lieblings-Pizzabaeckers uebersetzte meine Sendezeitenanfrage an "Radio Milano International" (jetzt 101-Network) in sauberstes Italienisch. Bis 2004 blieb ich Italien treu. So nahm ich z. B. die Dienste des "Italian Radio Relay Service" (IRRS/Nexus IBA, Milano) in Anspruch, der unsere Sendungen sogar als Internetstream verbreitete.
Jeff White, Mitte der Achtziger Jahre auch in Europa beruehmt geworden durch sein zeitweise ebenfalls in Italien ausgestrahltes "Radio Earth", war von Sommer bis Winter 2004 Gastgeber bei WRMI - "Radio Miami" im Sonnenstaat Florida. In Lettland nutzte ich von Juli 2004 bis Dezember 2008 Sendeanlagen 15 km oestlich von Riga. Eine umfangreiche Antennenanlage sorgte fuer 2800 kW abgestrahlte Sendeleistung (ERP) und damit fuer Hoerbarkeit in ganz Europa, Amerika und Teilen Asiens! Sogar aus Neuseeland und Japan kamen Empfangsberichte! 2009 wechsele ich wieder zurueck zum "Italian Radio Relay Service" (IRRS/Nexus IBA, Milano). Durch das 2004 eingefuehrte neue "Horizontal Programming" wissen Hoerer die jeweils genauen Sendezeiten auf Kurzwelle- jeden ersten Samstag im Monat. Ansonsten ist die show via www.play.fm zu hoeren!

Since 1985 I am busy with "making radio": Suitable to the computer boom in the 80s I selected the station's indicative song "(I'm your) Joystick" from the US Funk-Pop-Group "The Dazz-Band". The son of my former preferred pizza-man translated my request to "Radio Milano International" (now well-known in Italy as "101-Network") into perfect italian. Until 2004 I used italian facilities to rent broadcasting time. For example I used the "Italian Radio Relay Service" (IRRS/Nexus IBA, Milano) which even offered our shows as internet stream.
Jeff White, famous founder of "Radio Earth" mid of the 80s, was our host from summer thru winter 2004 with his fantastic WRMI - "Radio Miami" in sunny Florida.
From July 2004 until December 2008I used broadcasting facilities in Latvija, 15 kms east of the capital Riga. A huge antenna construction made it possible to reach even America and Asia with 2800 kW effective radiated power! Even from Newzealand and Japan we received reception reports! 2009 I am changing back to the "Italian Radio Relay Service" (IRRS/Nexus IBA, Milano)!
