Chris James (Crowther) has been djing now since the age of 15, getting his first run of gigs not long after!! Chris has recently come into the new light of the 'electro-house' scene due to his exceptional mixing and track selection and is fast becoming a regular feature in and around the midlands!! He has so far been booked on the same bill alongside dj's such as ARMIN VAN BUUREN, RANK 1, MARK KNIGHT, D. RAMIREZ, GABRIEL & DRESDEN, MICKY SLIM, RICHARD DINSDALE, SUCKER DJS, BART B MORE, MISCHA DANIELS, ED KANE, KAMMISHAKE, STUPID FRESH, PAUL GARDNER (SOUL AVENGERZ), PAUL KERSHAW (GALAXY.FM), LUCIANA (BODYROX) & Many More...
Chris started out playing funky house & trance firstly, doing internet radio shows live from home and guest slots in Birmingham frequently. After months of gaining a regular base of listeners, Chris was asked to be a resident on a brand new radio show in Birmingham's City Centre and had the main slots on a friday and saturday night throughout 2005, playing funky house and trance.
Chris's show was getting thousands of listeners every week, due to his musical tastes and mixing ability. At this time chris was doing three radio shows per week which also included 'Funk'd Up Mondays'. In 2006, he joined the ETN.fm team to do a monthly 2 hour slot, under his titled show HLE (Harder, Louder & Electronic) which also has recieved praise. Since making his first appearence in a club environment in 2002, Chris has gone from strength to strength in terms of promoters wanted to book him through word of mouth, seeing him live or through mix cd's!!
Chris has presented his skills, in some of the best nights in and around the Midlands, London and Ibiza including; Ministry Of Sound, Turnmills, San Antonio Bay, Bushwackers, B1, Spin, Fuel, Mud, Plastic, Glam, Bambu, Moneypennys, Funk'd Up & Many More...
Chris, when doing a funky set can play very soulful, deep house/ funky where he has for events such as on the Terrace @ Bushwackers and Spin where he has played every month since 2005, to the more bangin' electro beats @ nights such as; If @ Bushwackers, Mud Club, Plastic, Limbo & his own night Release!!
2009 is looking bright for Mr. Crowther, as he continues to get regular bookings, play alongside respected djs and bring crowds to the dancefloor. A name to watch out for for 2009...

Chris has been producing overall for around 5-6 years (previously making trance productions before moving into the realms of house-www.myspace.com/cynergynokturnal). Late 2006 early 2007 Chris started making electro-house, but over the last year has tried his hand at producing some fidget/ jackin tracks/ remixes for his sets and has had plays from djs such as JUDGE JULES (LIVE @ PLANET LOVE, N. IRELAND 2007 ON RADIO 1), ARMAND VAN HELDEN (LIVE @ GLOBAL GATHERING 2007) & a host of djs nationwide and throughout THE WORLD. Chris is now attempting to make innovative/ forward thinking music, and this has been recognised by one of the leading labels in house music at this moment-POTTY MOUTH in Chicago, home to artists such as CROOKERS & HIJACK!! All the tracks off Chris's EP on POTTY MOUTH MUSIC this year entered the Beatport TOP 100 Electro Charts with TORCIDA CUMBIA reaching 22ND, PANIC AT THE BAR MITZVAH reaching 23RD & THE CONCEPT OF DANCING coming in at 40TH, becoming one of the best EP releases on POTTY MOUTH MUSIC!!
Chris has combined his experience of previous productions with the more modern electronic sounds in a unique fashion which he very much can call his own. Chris is also fast-becoming known for his unnoficial remixes, which have had a load of plays from local dj's and huge interest from outside the midlands!!
As mentioned Chris is becoming known for his EP release's on labels such as POTTY MOUTH, WEARHOUSE & DANDY KIDS aswell as his remixes for VENGA DIGITAL & ROOSTAR RECORDS which are currently causing a quiet storm in the forward thinking house revolution. More to come in 2009...

TJR; Stylin EP! My favs are "He Was Like" and the Rene Van Munster remix (clever breakdown, made me wanna do the worm).
TOM EQ; Excellent first release from Dub Noir. He was like kills it on the sound systems. Kyle Watson is easily one of my favourite producers at the minute. Rene Van Munster provides and interesting twist. Something for everyone. Love it.
WONGO; Yueah 'He Was Like' is def my favourite then 'Big House RVM Remix' is a f@+king hell of a remix i love alllll his stuff. the whole EP has something for everyone so i think its solid as f@*k man.
