Coleman Hamilton, 22, born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. As a child, Coleman always loved music from the likes of old school rock-n-roll that his dad played in the car; to the Jimmy Buffett he listened to while on the road to the beach. He always loved to listen to classical music too It wasn't until he was 7 years old, he picked up playing the piano and took lessons for about a year, until he gave it up cause he always like making melodies versus playing others melodies on the piano. He learned how to read and write music, but today doesn't know how to read or write musical notes. Coleman learns all the notes by ear now. At age 10 he started playing the drums as he found that he liked percussion more so than playing the piano. Kevin White (to this day he still talks to frequently) taught him everything there is about the drums, and how to make beats. Coleman, can still to this day can play on the drum set, however doesn't currently have a drum set in his studio. The era that we know of Coleman Hamilton and his electronic background didn't start until he was 14, when he was in Health class and everyone was asked what they wanted for Christmas, he said a pair of turntables. That Christmas, Coleman got his first pair of turntables and a few vinyls (various old Techno / Trance acts). The main person that Coleman was influenced by in 2004 was Kenneth Thomas who he met at TranceAddict forums. He gave Coleman some pointers on take it slow and work your way up there. Years went by, and Coleman switched out his turntables to CDJs and continued to release many mixes and a few production here and there that he created off of FL Studio, but nothing major. Coleman Hamilton currently hosts a yearly Compilation that is still Free called "Fractured". He uses Ableton Live to create his productions and has switched from CDJs to Traktor after the amount of space he has in his room. Coleman is currently in Active Duty in the United States Army. This was just a short Bio of Coleman Hamilton, there are many things coming in the next few years, and hopefully a full biography highlighting some of his memories as a child that he has and a few pointers for the new comers into the Electronic Scene.
