SONG WRITING/SINGING: Essence sings like a Siren. She is a gifted songwriter, writing and recording all her own lyrics. An ethereal yet soulful sound, her vocals will make you shiver with anticipation. All vocals are recorded at her home studio to a professional standard, where Essence skips between her microphone and Nuendo software. Via this method Essence has collaborated with artists worldwide and the vocals recorded have been release quality. Not only has she already written 14 tracks on a 15 track album, she has done many, many collabs ranging from Soul, Trance, DnB, Guitar Accoustic and pop songs and enjoyed releases on Vinyl, CD and digital formats.
MIXING : Essence is an energetic DJ and an Avid vinyl junkie. She is a total fan of basic setups and proud to say she uses no synch assist, touch up softwares, or computer equipment to mess with her mixes. All mixes /live streams only recorded into wave studios - never edited! Essence has DJ'd Europe and the UK, 2006 Eastern Haze Festival (Dance Stage),2007 Eastern Haze Festival (Drum n Bass Stage)and various clubs and Free Parties and highlights handing the decks over to Aphrodite in Alberrys, Canterbury as her favourite DJ set.
RADIO : Essence has presented her own 2 hour weekly Friday night slot on Evolution FM playing all genres from Drum N Bass to Techno. She has also featured on many other stations doing guest mixes for Black Tiger Recordings radio, It's Too Loud with Subject 13, and many more! Essence has also hosted Myspace Mars Planets Radio with UK Celebrity Alex Zane from USP Content studios in London.
PRODUCING: Essence has an array of software for fine music production . PROMOTING: Essence co - managed a very successful DNB stage at a 3 day Festival in Suffolk in 2007 with headliners Ray Keith, Nicky Blackmarket, Dr S Gachet, Slider, Top Buzz, EZ Rollers Jay, etc. The 3 day event went without hitch and everyone had a wicked weekend!
