Swedish La Fleur is not easily put into a box. She’s the pharmacist turned DJ. The dancer turned dance maker. La Fleur is maximal and minimal house, techno and tech house. Blessed with a unique presence and creative selection, she seduces any crowd into musical bliss.
Having started back in 2004, La Fleur quickly became known around the Stockholm scene, landing residencies at all the major clubs as well as numerous international bookings. La Fleur was ranked as nr 6 in "Sweden's top 100 DJ’s list 2007” and was nominated in Scandinavian Music Convention (SMC) in the category "Best DJ” in 2008.
La Fleur is also one half of the dj-duo Housewives. Because of Housewives' concept thinking and with ingredienses like humour and exploding performances Housewives have been recieving great recognition. Housewives has twice been awarded "Best Club", in People Choice Awards 2007 and in the Scandinavian Music Convention 2008. Housewives were the first ever to lay their hands on the Pacemaker in early 2007 and have been ambassadors for it since then.
Since 2008 La Fleur also host the dance music radio show 'P3 Dans', on Swedish National Radio. It's the biggest show in its genre in Scandinavia and features interviews with people like Ellen Allien, 2000 and One, Steve Bug, Axwell, Shinedoe, Style of Eye, Sebastian Ingrosso, Nôze and many more.
Success has lead La Fleur to focus fulltime on her DJ-profession. The main focus now is music production. In the autumn of 2007 La Fleur moved from Stockholm to Berlin in order to devote more time to producing her own style of music. In December 2008 she had her first remix released on Trunkfunk Records. Housewives are releasing their first material on Kinetika Records and a remix for the biggest Swedish rock band Kent on Sony Music, all in December 2009. More music soon to be released.
