BIO: Representing as one of the world’s first female DJs in the club Industry since 1985, DJ LORi is now, also recognized as the 30 female DJ worldwide, having been officially voted by fans and more. Maintaining herself as a true icon for female DJs but not limiting herself, she continually upholds as a reputable club and music DJ throughout the years. With her spin styles crossing wide spectrums of cultural lines, she consistently exposes her unique abilities and talents to new sound levels, by maintaining to keep the respects of the many genres of HOUSE. Additionally, having the continuing opportunities to serve celebrities such as NBA‘s Michael Jordan, Lupe Fiasco and more, her career is taken to new heights with producing and remixing.

With the eye candy pleasure of starting out with the now-obselete method of using Technic turntables and vinyl, DJ LORi has quickly advanced herself into the modern technology of Pioneer's CDJ1000 and Serato. Satisfying her own obsession for pleasing dance music lovers, one of her goals is to show constant support of bringing back more dance music to the mainstream.

It started in 1985, influenced heavily by Chicago's Hot Mix 5 and radio's WBMX, DJ LORi felt and responded to her calling for a female DJ to hit the club scene next to her inspirational male counterparts and mentors. Spinning genres of HOUSE and FREESTYLE back then, she progressed into today's genre of PROGRESSIVE, TECH, ELECTRO, TRIBAL and DISCO HOUSE. Her ever restless need to add more sounds of HOUSE to her already proven skills and reputation, only enhanced her abilities to continue as a serious HOUSE DJ, of which of course, is to be not taken lightly by anyone. Her own philosophy of incorporating not one style but different styles of HOUSE that blends well, only ceases to amaze people of her strong mental ability required to be a true long standing DJ who has the true art form of skilled mixing.

Having proudly officially named as number 30 Female DJ, worldwide (www.shejay.net), her hard work, dedication and patience is finally paying off. Added with the experience in the club scene, marketing and the Fortune 500 scene and having the opportunity to DJ for NBA celebrities like Michael Jordan and his family, as well as Billboard smash artist Lupe Fiasco, this female DJ recently added her skills of remixing to her title. Having accepted the offer to accomplish her first remix for Mickey Mixin' Oliver's Hot Mix 5 (one of the originators of HOUSE in Chicago), she recently has released her remix of Mickey's "Nothing More To Give", heard on this myspace profile. Producing her own music is considered as her new venture, as she dedicated to continually adding contribution and support in her role to the House and Dance Music Industry.
