80年代後期4年間をイギリスで過ごし、現在のクラブミュージックシーンに
重大な影響を与えた一大ムーブメント、セカンド・サマー・オブ・ラブを実体験。帰国後、
91年よりDJ活動を開始と同時にパーティオーガナイズも手掛け、92年からトランスシーンの草分け「ODYSSEY」を始め、96年には伊豆山中で３日間ノンストップのレイブを開催し1000人を動員。その後はリキッドルームのDETOX他、数々の人気パーティ、イベントを手掛ける。現在は今年で9回目を迎え、2万人を動員する野外音楽フェスティバル「メタモルフォーゼ」を毎年夏に主催。

efestivaljapan DJとしては、レギュラーパーティとしては異例、今年3月で10周年を迎えるハードテクノパーティ「REBOOT」、ロンドンー東京同時開催の「Fiercesounds」のレジデンツを始め国内外の多数のパーティでプレイ。定評のあるハードテクノのスタイルに加え、クリック／ミニマル系のセットもプレイ。
プロダクションサイドでは、『RED SCORPION』名義でのリリース他、ファンク・デ・ボイドのリミックス、QHEYのアルバム「ELECTRIC EYE ON ME」等に曲を提供。2008年春には Mayuri& Salmon 名義でDogmatic Records より上記楽曲を含むCountercurrent EP をリリース予定。
作年リリースされた２枚目のミックスCD「MUSA」に引き続き、2008年7月に
は3枚目のミックスCD「CB SESSIONを」リリース！！
I hav started my dj carrer in 1991, and have constantly djing and organizing parties/evetns in Japan.
My best known project, the "METAMORPHOSE" festival is the biggest electronic music festival in Japan. Metamorphose first began in 2000, soon establishing itself internationally as one of the best electronic and dance music festivals in the world, which now gathers together some 20,000 people.
After spending 4 years in London in the late 80's, I became heavily influenced during the second summer of love. Upon returning to Japan in 1991 I started organising & DJ-ing at underground parties in and around Tokyo.
Rapidly gaining notoriety for my DJ-ing skills and diverse sets I found myself being invited to play in clubs all the way across Japan. Establishing a name for myself on the back of this success, I took my dj carreer worldwide, travelling across the globe & playing in the major cities of Asia, the USA, Australia, New Zealand and Europe.
I have a residency at Reboot, one of the respected, the longest run Techno party in Japan which celebrated its 11th anniversary this year. I am also a resident at Fiercesounds, playing regularly for them in Japan & in London.
I have released a harc techno Mix CD "Reboot 2" in 2003, tech house Mix CD "MUSA" in 2007, minimal Mix CD "CB SESSION in 2008, and "A PIECE OF TECHNO" in July 2009.
