Hi i go by the name of dj myme..
I satrted djing around 2002 ish and started out on a set of citronic direct drives later up grading to techincs 1210s a vestax 06 and a technics ex1200 mixer. Now its all about my RANE TT56S mixer (Its amazing!!)
I would see myself as being a hiphop dj/musician, i started battiling in 2003 when i lived up in EDINBURGH and i was third in the SCOTTISH DMC FINALS in 2005 the previous year i was fourth in the SCOTTISH FINALS. i was involved in some local competions getting second place in the ACCESS battle. big up RITCHIE RUFFTONE 5x SCOTTISH DMC CHAMPION and scotlands finest plus a big shout out to my OFFBEAT Family richard sonny etc thanks for the support.
I am originaly from GLASTONBURY and i now live in LONDON.. In 2007 i placed 4th in the LONDON DMC FINALS.
Im trying to branch out more than just doing the battle scene i have started putting out mix cds which have been received really well so far. I have had five of my mix cds reviewd in HHC (HIP HOP CONNECTION) by Dj YODA, a massive thank you to YODA for the continued support.
what im trying to do with my mix cds is just to keep it mainly about the tunes but with some nice scratches,juggles,skits etc. Im going to continue to upload my mix cds and current projects on to my page so feel free to download them and leave me your feedback.
Im also going to start putting together ten minute mixes which you can download in full from my MYSPACE page the first mix is called "ITS THE RETURN OF THE DOPEST MOTHERFUCKER" which takes in "CNN,JERU THE DAMAJA,MOS DEF" etc its on my page now so feel free to download it.

Ok all the music stuff aside i try to stay as present as i can and as focussed as i can. Because we are all connected alot of us dont see it but we really,really are. Every sustained thought has a reaction be it good or bad!! So to find yourself truly in the present momment is the only real momment of power its alot deeper than that but if your intersted in finding out more you will because everything that happens in your life every situation every momment etc you have attracted to you. So try to be truly gratefull for all the little things that you have and be as happy as you can, because it all comes back to you.

I hope you like the rough unfinished demo ideas for now..They are what they are...It could be 10 times better had I had real musicians/actual band members that were better than me to help take it all to another level. Unfortunately I don't have that here in NJ...so I've been forced to pick up everything else and use a drum machine/rhythm trainer that really isn't made for writing music with and on top I'm not really good with drum machines. They are hard as hell...Well again I hope that you can understand me and what I'm trying to do regarding music.
