SECRET GARDEN SOUNDSYSTEM EVERY SUNDAY FROM 3PM ALL FOR FREE
THE BACKYARD
July-September is the start of a new project “The Backyard” the backyards aim is to be an open outdoor performance space for artists and musicians to show work. The space will be open every Sunday from 1pm in July. A space to inspire your creativity there is a stage for buskers, circus, musicians, poets, MCs and street. This is your space!
The walls surrounding the backyard are open for budding street artists or anybody that wishes to paint so you can just turn up with paints and get involved. Anybody with ideas for events or wishing to perform should contact us.
MUSIC The Sunday programming has been re-organised and July will include evenings organised by the Cardiff Dub Appreciation Society and Catapult records. A Kruger Magazine Party featuring the notorious “Men in Masks” plus an evening hosted by the lovely Bethen Elyfn of Radio 1 and that’s just for July the rest of the Summer has lots more instore.
NORTHCOTE LANE MARKET Northcote Lane Yard Market also runs in the backyard on the 1st Sunday of every month starting at 12pm a boutique collectors market for perveyours of fine goods, amazing jumble and good, good stuff. Last month saw a market stall from Kid Carpet selling his electronic toys for info on market and pitches www.myspace.com/northcotelanemarket
BBQ Each week the chefs take control of the BBQ cooking up sizziling World Cuisine using fresh local produce to arouse those taste buds.
