静岡生まれのトラックメイカー/DJ。
ヒップホップのコア、サンプリングを主軸に「音楽と日常の共存」をテーマに掲げ、日々活動中。「The Music is Any Moments in Life」、生活していく中で感じた事を音で表現し、自らの音がリスナーの生活の中に居る事を願っている。”眠りにつく直前の安らぎ” ”本を開くときの凛とした気持ち”。 そんな風に場面と心情との関連性を重要視して音を創り上げる。「DJ OKAWARI」という名前は、常に満足することなく、常に新たなものを模索し、常に挑戦し続けるところに由来する。2008年5月28日にデビューアルバム「DIORAMA」をリリース。ジャジーでムーディーでエレガント、キラキラしたセンチメンタルなインスト・ヒップホップに加え、女性シンガーやピアニストもフィーチャーし、より華麗に、美しく、そしてあでやかに仕上げられたこのアルバムは、リスニング・ミュージックとして昇華されたヒップホップの新たな指針として、幅広く好評を博している。
