Omnidrive è sulla scena elettronica dance dal 1991, dopo l’incontro con Mutoid Waste Company, il gruppo internazionale di artisti/meccanici
famosi in tutta Europa per le loro installazioni e mezzi motorizzati trasformati in stile Mad Max. Conosciuti in Italia come “Mutoidi”,
i loro eventi hanno aperto la strada dei warehouse parties (spazi abbandonati occupati per la durata della festa) già nella metà degli anni ‘80
nella Londra della generazione acid house. Musicisti e dj/produttori londinesi ricordano ancora quei party, dove un mix di punk, cyborg,
band dal vivo e djs si fondeva in un’ambientazione saltata fuori da un fumetto.
a partire dal 1993 Omnidrive diventa
parte attiva del gruppo, sonorizzando col suo sound system una lunga serie di show/parties portati in tour dal 1994 al 1997. Dal 1997 inizia una serie di lunghe permanenze in Messico
e America centrale, dove incontra Jethro Dee e insieme uniscono le forze per organizzare una serie di party ancora impressi nella memoria dei "locales" frequentatori della spiaggia di Zicatela (Puerto Escondido, Mex).
Fra i primi a organizzare e far ballare il pubblico italiano dei rave parties all’inizio dei ’90, è stato numerose volte ospite, sin dalle
prime aperture, delle consolle di Link, Livello 57 e tutte le edizioni dello Street Rave Parade Antiproibizionista di Bologna, giunto durante i suoi dieci anni di percorso ad un pubblico di 100.000 ravers.
Alla fine del 2000 ha unito le sue energie con altri 5 djs, formando la h2O DJ Crew, collettivo dalle variopinte sfumature musicali.
Nel 2001 ha affiancato all’attività musicale quella della moda indipendente, creando insieme a Sugar Babe l’etichetta di abbigliamento sugarbabe.org, occupandosi della colonna sonora delle sfilate/performance con cui sono stati presentati i capi delle collezioni a Night Wave (Rimini) nel 2001, all’ex chiesa dello Spasmo a Palermo e al Giardino del Guasto (Bologna).
da ottobre 2004 ha aperto il punto vendita della label a Bologna, dove ogni venerdì e sabato propone la rassegna Djs for Sale!, con ospiti
in consolle nella vetrina sopraelevata del negozio.
Il sound che Omnidrive propone si è evoluto partendo dalla prima acid house londinese, spostandosi verso trance tedesca e techno inglese,
tipiche della metà anni ’90; dai rave parties ai club, la scelta musicale si è affinata con l’house french touch, i ritmi percussivi,
le sonorità deep della dub house di origine canadese e west coast americana. Il bagaglio musicale si è ulteriormente arricchito con le
nuove tendenze electro/acid che imperversano sui dancefloor nordeuropei. Tutte queste influenze trovano spazio nei set di Omnidrive,
dotato di grande sensibilità verso il feeling che si crea con il pubblico, protagonista importante delle sue performances.

Omnidrive has been on the electronic dance scene since 1991, after the encounter with Mutoid Waste Company,
the international group of artists/mechanics famous around Europe for their installations and mutated vehicles Mad Max style.
Known in Italy as "Mutoidi", their events have opened the way to warehouse parties (abandoned spaces squatted for the duration of the party)
during the mid 80s to the acid house generation that grew up in London in those years.
London’s community of musicians and dj/producers still remember those parties, where a mix of punk, cyborg, live bands and djs were melted in an atmosphere coming straight at you from a comic strip.
starting from 1993 Omnidrive and its sound system have become an active part of the group and the long series of show/parties
brought on tour from 1994 to 1997. In 1997 he travelled widely throughout Mexico and central America, where he met Jethro Dee,
joining forces in a serie of parties still in the memory of the locals at Zicatela Beach (Puerto Escondido, Mex).
One of the first to organize and get to the dancefloor the Italian ravers parties in the beginning of the '90s, he has been,
since their first openings, dj guest at venues like Link and Livello 57 and all the editions of the Street Rave Parade Antiproibizionista (Bologna, Italy),
which reached a public of 100,000 followers during its 10 editions.
Since the end of 2000 he has joined its energies with 5 more djs, forming h2O DJ Crew, collective with colourful musical shadings.
In 2001 he has placed side by side musical activity to independent fashion, creating with Sugar Babe the clothing label sugarbabe.org. he has
been taking care of the fashion shows soundtracks, for their collections at Night Wave (Rimini) in 2001, at the former church of Spasmo in Palermo,
and Giardino del Guasto (Bologna).
since October 2004 he has opened the label own boutique in Bologna (I),
where he organizes every friday and saturday Djs for Sale!, in the upstairs dj booth.
In 2007, with Dj Gomes, he's been organizing Eclectronica, events with various live and guest djs, held at Laboratorio Autogestito Crash in Bologna (I).
Omnidrive’s sound has evolved from London’s acid house, moving towards German trance and English techno, typical of the mid '90s;
from rave parties to clubs, the musical choice has refined
with house french touch, percussive rhythms, deep sounds of Canadian and American west coast dub house. His record bag has become
richer with the new electro/acid trends, big on the northeuropean dancefloors. All these infuences find space in Omnidrive sets,
talented with great sensibility towards the feeling created with the public, important part of his performances.

Almost Tomorrow is the third full length collaboration album from Section 27 Netlabel founders Tam Ferrans and Andrew Paterson, under their Nonima & theAudiologist guise. This time around the sound is more melodic, and has a definite feeling of a complete and more mature sound than heard on the previous LP's "Dystopian Battle Hymns" and "Ceremony After Amputation". If you are familiar with their individual projects you may even be in for a slight surprise, as the tracks are not as beat driven like before, but are more atmospheric and sound, well... "bigger". In its 75 minutes, Almost Tomorrow takes you on a trip from the digital rain-soaked cavernous scraping in "Thoughtograph", the ethereal beat jittering of "The Colour of Rain", intercepted transmissions from unknown places in "Com-Intercept", "Ganzfeld"s huge yet strangely insect-like beats until everything you knew comes crashing around you in "Almost Tomorrow". Burning pianos, glitched out soundscapes and intricately programmed beatplay, this may well be their best work to date. Consider it the soundtrack to a rainy overcast day, but with just that glimmer of sunshine peeking from the clouds. "Almost Tomorrow" wears its heart on its sleeve.
