ROOTS, PSYCHEDELIK GROOVES, WORLD
FUNK & BOLLYWOOD SONGS ...
PAIKAN & THE SADHUS
First French artist with the British label Jazzman records, Paikan and the Sadhus is a project led by the musician, DJ and producer Paikan.
It's a subtle mix of afro funk grooves, psychedelic guitars and heavy funky bass.
Paikan's Indian sitar, real star of the project,
develops themes and solos together with Aldo Guinart's saxophone.
With "Dance floor fight", Prince Mamba opens with his warm voice,
and Djemzo is the guest guitar player on "Afro on the rocks".
3 titles on the first 12 inches
A forthcoming album is forecast with an even more 70s feel arrangement.
