Durante su breve trayectoria, DMOC destacaron principalmente por sus caóticos conciertos, sus habituales y violentas disputas internas, y su manifiesto interés por las vanguardias musicales del siglo XX –free jazz, ruidismo, punk, música electroacústica, reggaeton, y un largo etcétera- siendo por lo general incapaces de asimilarlas y/o reproducirlas.
También es de señalar su falta de disciplina en los ensayos y su querencia por la improvisación, que resultó en algunas de las mejores sesiones de la banda –y también en muchas de las más desastrosas.
Con un variopinto background, el universo lírico de la banda intentó plasmar una visión lisérgica de la vida en el gueto, y de la tensión resultante del enfrentamiento entre el hombre moderno y su entorno hostil.
En su momento de mayor esplendor, intentó asociarse a la banda con el nuevo movimiento underground barcelonés, pero la desidia de sus miembros terminó por desviar la atención hacia formaciones de mayor talento y solvencia.
Los integrantes de DMOC continúan interactuando en diversos proyectos musicales paralelos –que en la mayoría de los casos tienen poca o ninguna relación con el sonido y filosofía de la banda original- pero no descartan volver a tocar juntos en futuro próximo.

Hey guys! After a year and a half we are back charging full steam ahead with the release of our latest album "Songs For The Road Towards The End Of The World" this past May 31, 2009. Unlike our two previous releases this was a long duration album (LP) featuring 12 all created by Pete Drown. Mike Mellow participated in the album by co-producing it and creating the art. The first single is called "Ciento Once Grados" (111 Degrees) and we have a brief video/slideshow teaser for it on our page.

Estamos cerrando la programación del 2009 . Programamos una media de 20 conciertos en las 10 salas más emblemáticas de Barcelona y Madrid. Normalmente programamos conciertos con tres bandas, con un repertorio cada una de 45 minutos y una media de público de unas 200 personas.
