About me: I live in Portland as an artist and musician. I run PIP Gallery on NW Everett between 6th and Broadway. I play drums in blind pilot with Israel Nebeker who is amazing. Sometimes we tour by bike which is possibly the most fun one can have. I drink coffee and eat a burrito nearly every day. I love Portland, but like to get out whenever I can.
Yeeeeah! We CAN do what ever the 'eff we want! Like, we can eat carrot cake for breakfast without utensils - who needs 'em! We can scream "I love this city" but in pig latin cuz no one uses pig latin anymore and clearly they should, for OBvious reasons! We can have a 'fried egg sandwich' eating contest, and see who can tally the most - no, wait, no fried egg sandwich eating contests k, I don't want to know how many you can eat. Err, I mean how many scrambled egg sandwiches you can eat. Err, um, lets just scratch that last one.
Ryyyyaaannnn ... When are you headed to the coast for your show on Saturday? If you are around prior you should come to Astoria and see ME! Let me know ...
I still have an original dobrowski metal sculpture "man playing guitar" ooooo it's a keeper! not to mention i'd love to get an up to date painting for the house;)
So, I figured out why the vacuum cleaner wasn't working. Might I say that I "think" that this disgusting and startling discovery quite possibly pays me back for all of the times you went the distance on the bathtub drain. Yep. I think so.
RYAN! i am coming to Oregon June 7-11. i think i am going to rent a car at the airport on the 7th and cruise into portland to do some shopping :) any chance you would be free for coffee? your lovely is also invited!! it would be great to see you both :) AND, i will be expecting you to bring a certain CD for me to purchase :) YAY!
You know how sometimes people say things to you in passing that you don't really notice at the time, but then later they turn into profound words that come back to you again and again and again?? I like to tell people when their profound words help me out at a later date. What you said once was, "Guys aren't sweet." I think about that. A lot. xo.
