關於 Doc Loco

I write and perform my own original songs and lately a few selected covers.

I was a drummer for over 20 years and then started writing songs and teaching myself guitar.

My last band - Dr. Loco and the Holy City Howlers - Salt Lake City, Utah (1990) I have mostly played solo shows since then but have put performing on the back burner while I raised 6 kids by tattooing and piercing with my wife Kita Kazoo

Now, after 11 years in Utah (2nd time around - I guess I'm a slow learner) I am back home in Metro-Detroit.

I grew up on Detroit's westside and went to Redford High School but this time around we bought a house across the street from Detroit in Fun, Freaky, Fashionable and Fabulous Ferndale.

I plan on performing locally and trying to put together a full band, which is my preference.

I am CEO of UBU Ministries, a church dedicated to teaching and practicing the Golden Rule.

In addition to teaching, I also heal the sick and perform counseling.

One of our main interests is community recovery, reform and re-development.

We consider tattoos and piercings to be spiritual emblems and are greatful to have been voted 1 in People's Choice Awards year after year. Our tattoo services were even voted Best of Utah by the Salt Lake Weekly in 2008 - the only time tattooing has ever been granted that award.
