your acting like you've never fallen in love with a girl, and the real wimps are the people that call people who do love wimps b/c they're to scared to hand over a part of themselves to someone in return for their love, they're the real wimps, and that is how the quality of love gives depth to a character, it defines the cowards form the courageous, they know the risk but they take it b/c they know they have a chance at something wonderful, something better than being alone but fully intact, "Courage is not the lack of fear, but fear its self" they know the risk and they do fear heartbreak but the plunge on, you could call it stupidity, or not able to learn from mistakes but the way i see it is you cannot trully feel anything until you have felt all feelings and can define them easily, you cannot be trully smart until you have been stupid and can tell the difference
but that is the whole point, Bella is his weakness, in the second he describe bella being in his life and her absence like this, "before you came into my life it was like a night sky with small pinpoints of meaning as stars here and there and when you came into my life it was like a metior passing in front of my eyes, but when it was gone there was nothing, i was blinded by light, i couldn't see the stars anymore. " well that isn't exactly how he said it but it was something like that, the point is there is not reason to live without love, and a vampires love is their weakness, they get crazy about vengence if you hurt their mate
so which are you more passionate about hating: the original band, that crappy cover band we suffered saturday night singing the buckcherry song, or that song paired with dancing WoW characters?
