Who I'd like to meet: Everyone, but I would only let someone close to me shares the same values as myself. Someone who would let me see into her soul. Someone willing to go through the process knowing who each of us are beyond the masques that we show ourselves. Usually we don't show ourselves that part of ourselves. We strangle our inner selves and become slaves to the alienation this world hands us We feel content to walk away unfulfilled rather than trust another person for even a moment of the truth about ourselves.
I want to meet someone who will let me see her true self for more than that minuet when her guard is down. I want her to trust in me and not be afraid and hide. I want her to not run when she see me for who I am. I want to trust that she will not scream when she sees my innermost insecurities and will be patient as I develop trust so that I can show my scars for I know that they are ugly.
That's just a little of who I would like to meet.
But, of course, I'll be anyone's friend.
