PATRICK VEGA -Instrumental Rock Guitar without the shred-
Tired of the same old?! Check out FFF Music recording artist PATRICK VEGA!
NEW ALBUM '8 Bullets' (2009, FFF Music)
Mixed by Dave Dominguez (Papa Roach, Adema) and Mastered by John Cuniberti (Joe Satriani), featuring Drummer Glen Sobel (Sixx AM, Jennifer Batten).
The record '8 Bullets' is a fusion between old and new and is a Rock Guitar Instrumental Album where there is so much more than just a million notes. 8 Bullets has very few technical outbursts as
MELODY, FEEL and TONE play the lead role, and Patrick Vega’s original licks, riffs and melodies always serve the song.
Please let me introduce about my new track, "Visions in the Sky".
・・・・・・・・・・
・This track freely changes the tempo, like BPM 170 → 40 → 190 → (stacks 2 or 4) → 170 → 40.
・The main melody(4/4 rythum) is like classic music's one, but the low part(3/4 rythum) is like jazz-pop's one.
・In the latter half, this track becomes spacy, like 80's progressive hard rock・・・but I only used a piano sound. It will show you what are "visions". Raindrops, comets, clouds・・・Every image will be right.
Please let me take your spaces
・・・I made a new track called "A Order in Ripples".
・Finally this track reachs "Chopin meets Hard Rock", with only piano & drums.
・I used 3/4 time & 7/8 time besides 4/4 time in this track, but I tried not to be a show-off man
・・・so maybe you don't notice.
・This track starts with 170 BPM, but it slowly accelerates & finally it reachs over 220 BPM.
・This track contains two exact oppsites・・・one is very complicated but another is very simple.
・This track is very short, only 2.07 minutes.
・The name of this track briefly means its characteristic. At the end of this track, the order comes out. What's "A Order in Ripples"? You will easilly find the answer.
Maybe it rouses Bashou's famous Haiku, "Fulu-ike ya (古池や) …".
Let me know your impressions if you have time ('x')ノシ
Hi Don! Its good to see you again! I hope you like the songs on this site for my past life and identity! BTW most of my old songs and cassette recordings are coming out again on CD albums this year. Dive in Deep has been converted to mp3s and WAVs and will be released as a CD on Alan Craw's label - he is in my top friends.
Hey, it has been a long time since I saw you last.
I uploaded a new track, the master take of "Alexander". I changed plays of the base & a piano solo. The letter is the section of my favorite(BPM is about 174).
