Don, your songs are great!!! The melodies are hypnotic and addictive, the vocals are penetrating and riveting with great tonal qualities and excellent timbre, the production is first-class and the lyrics are unique and descriptive. Don, you have your own special style but your songs also evoke memories and feelings of some of the wonderful psychedelia & punk songs through the years (Iron Butterfly, B-52's, Donovan, Jefferson Airplane, The Clash). Your songs make me feel as though I am transported to a landscape of dreams where purple phantoms are sticking their heads through the train windows and trying to grab us as we go hurtling along the tracks and volcanoes are erupting on the horizon and straight-razor wielding angels are riding pterodactyls circling high in the sky while the strippers are dancing in smokey underground clubs under the stalactites... Don, your songs are great! Good luck with your musical career. Cheers, David Rubin

"Impressive chops....There are some beautiful lines here - and he uses texture and dynamics to good effect." (Michael Molenda, Guitar Player Magazine, AUG'09)
I uploaded two new tracks, called “I Love Your Swingin’ in a Swing” & “Another Kiss, Another Night”.
*******
“I Love Your Swingin’ in a Swing” ; Partly polyrhythm of 3/4 & 4/4. ; Motown beats. ; I intentionally wrote so catchy melody with mainly using major keys (so this track is very different from my old works).
“Evening Dress (Another Kiss)” ; I tried to make a track like bossa nova, but the finished is nothing but a strange one… ; And it sounds obscene though I tried to make a elegant one… maybe factor’s a sound of guiro. ; Modulations will come twice. ; In the second interlude, there’s a section like trance music... BPM is over 300.

It will be nice if you give me your impressions… please check those over if you have a time. I’m looking forward to receiving your words.

PATRICK VEGA -Instrumental Rock Guitar without the shred-
Tired of the same old?! Check out FFF Music recording artist PATRICK VEGA!
NEW ALBUM '8 Bullets' (2009, FFF Music)
Mixed by Dave Dominguez (Papa Roach, Adema) and Mastered by John Cuniberti (Joe Satriani), featuring Drummer Glen Sobel (Sixx AM, Jennifer Batten).
The record '8 Bullets' is a fusion between old and new and is a Rock Guitar Instrumental Album where there is so much more than just a million notes. 8 Bullets has very few technical outbursts as
MELODY, FEEL and TONE play the lead role, and Patrick Vega’s original licks, riffs and melodies always serve the song.
